General Auction rules

1. All sales are final and no exchanges or refunds are possible.

2. All articles are sold “as is” and St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School are not responsible for the correct descriptions or authenticity of an item. Please note any restrictions or limitations specified on the description.

3. All bidding and purchases will be completed online. Winning bidders must have a credit card registered with Greater Giving and all prizes must be paid in full at the close of the auction.

4. Purchases must be used on or before the written expiration date or within the current school calendar year ending June 1st.  The same expiration dates apply should an item be transferred from the Winner to another person.

5. On all hotel accommodations, other lodging items and dinners, taxes and incidentals are not included unless otherwise specified. These items are on a space available basis and reservations are required.

6. Any values quoted must be treated as estimates only and not warranted by St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School for tax purposes or for general value.

7. Winning bidders with a credit card decline will be contacted and have an opportunity to make an alternate payment arrangement. Any winning bidder who does not make an alternate arrangement for payment, at the discretion of the Auction Officials, may forfeit his or her right to purchase the item. 

8. Purchase price of prizes does not include shipping fees. Prizes will not be shipped or delivered to winning bidders. It is the responsibility of the winning bidders to pick up prizes from the school on Sunday, March 13th, the day after the auction. In the event that you cannot pick up your purchase(s) on the designated date, alternate pick up arrangements must be made that are acceptable to the school during the week of 15th-18th March. 

9. For verification purposes, a paid receipt or personal identification must be shown to a  redemption Volunteer before a prize may be claimed at pick up. 

10. Winning bidders may request to have prize certificates mailed directly to them. St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School assume no liability for certificates that may be lost in transit.

11. Items and services purchased from the auction are used at the purchaser’s risk. St. Francis of Assisi Elementary along with 

assisting volunteers, assume no liability.
